I'm trying to cook but can't stop reading and laughing!

Nathan's doing so well on his balance bike now that we've been able to get back to doing longer family walks. Today we did just under 7km in the beautiful sunshine

I forgot to take photos so here are a couple from Wednesdays walk

They do, and it's lovely. But, it requires constant management and attention and at times it can be exhausting. Never believe those posts you see on FB/Instagram, where it appears that the dogs and kids are inseparable as I'm sure it's not the case.

Cockatoo's. The Cockies are loud and destructive. Their screech is awful!

I knew I have a couple of videos. The videos are rubbish but you can hear the Cockies screeching.

Aww, well done Nathan! That's a long way for little legs.

Rowan was an absolute star at the wedding reception. At one point all the photographers had me surrounded to take photos of him! He even had a little sleep on my lap during dinner. And the bride's mother, who speaks almost no English, came up to us to tell us that he is a "very pretty baby." Aww.

The wedding was lovely. The couple have had some tough times and it was all very moving.

I’m on “Puppy watch” today. One of our girls is in the early stages of labour and will have her puppies today (hopefully before 5 when I’m still at work!). My boss is doing “Puppy Party’s” all day, where people come to visit the litter they are getting a puppy from, so I have Harley out with me. I’m currently snuggled up on the floor with her keeping her comfortable and settled
It’s such an amazing feeling and makes me smile as I delivered Harley when her mum was having puppies! Amazing.

Thankyou! The son of some friends of ours made them (he is a joiner). He and his Dad came and fitted them for us. Then his Mum came round to check that they had cleaned up properly after themselves!

Thanks! We found them and the sofa in a second hand furniture store. They were quite scruffy looking but still lovely, very 1930s. We bought them intending to have them re upholstered but it was a few years before we could afford it! The chair you can see most of is the man's chair, the lady's chair is slightly smaller.
