Getting the basket ready for tomorrow , as we are going to Porthcothan to see Emily and Carbon , weather permitting as its been a shocker today . Both dogs seem to recognise " the basket " , which will contain a flask and food, obligatory , plus water for them, poo bags , towels , treats and a ball or two , I swear Reuben especially knows what it means , he is on high alert x

Today I took my nail varnish off - sign that lovely manicurist lady is coming so - Tatze was ‘on watch’ all day! Note to self, take the varnish off just before she’s due to arrive!

I'm smiling tonight at the mop my lovely daughter has bought for the household. As part of her Christmas preparations she decided to get in every nook and cranny in this house, put it to rights and chuck out rubbish. Hoorah, it was great! But it didn't stop there, she spring cleaned (yes I know, in mid winter) the house --- it's been blimmin brilliant, I can tell you!
She bought this mop that sprays cleaning stuff as you go, you've probably all got one but I'm way behind the times with cleaning stuff!
I can just mop up muddy paw prints in a jiffy, it's fab

. She ordered it online, I'm not sure where from. She's away with her work currently, but I'll ask her later when I text her

Ooh how wonderful your daughter doing all that. That mop looks good. I bought a Bona floor mop last year but only used it once. The reason is because it has a liquid that you spray on the floor. As I do a lot of scatter type feeding for Red with her teatime kibble, I didn’t like her licking the floors with solution on them. Perhaps I could just fill the container with water. Will get it out tomorrow and see. Was feeling guilty over wasting money on yet another household thing not being used.
