That is so cute @Sophiedoodle

Ive spent since 8.45am today with 8 young people from my youth centre. They are underprivileged young people and really wanted to go to London to see Buckingham Palace, so I arranged for me and 2 of my team to take them on the megabus (2.45 hours travel each way) and 5 hours in London sightseeing. We got extremely wet whilst stood outside the palace, but it dried up eventually. i brought them all lunch in McDonald’s as a treat and they have all been so polite with each other, with everyone around them and gave away some of their money to some some street performers as they said they looked like they needed some food. They have been amazing, but I’ve still got another 2 hours at least before we get home.
I’ve had updates all day from my dog walker about Harley and can’t wait to have the next 3 days off with her 😀

@Boogie - both of your sons seems so kind. Someone must have done a good job raising them. :)

@Candy - that little stuffy is just adorable. I'd be thrilled to get a prezzie like that. GGJ has good taste in having 'borrowed' it.

@Sophiedoodle - Oreo the snow eater! Nom nom. Brogan loved to eat snow, too. Carbon only eats snow if it's brown. Ew.

@Naya - you are a brave woman. Those kids are going to remember that day out for the rest of their lives. ❤

Today Carbon and I went to the dog exercise field of our holiday park. In short order a young man came into the field as well with a little orangey dog zipping along. After asking me if Carbon was alright with his dog, he let her off and she made a bee-line for Carbon. I looked at the dog (cute as a bug) and once her human had approached me, I said, "Do know what mix she is? Because she looks just like a podenco."

Her human grinned from ear to ear and said, "How did you know? She IS a podenco!".

Turns out he'd just adopted her a week ago. She had been found under a bush with poppies so - of course - her name was "Poppy". She's from Malaga. Adorable little thing who played and played AND PLAYED with Carbon.

The young man was clearly besotted - despite being a 'tough' roofer, he had Poppy decked out in a pink lead and collar and said, "I tell all the guys that she's my baby, because she is!".

Definitely a happy ending (or beginning) for a Malaga street dog.

Awwww! Thats just lovely!

I was at work this morning and so was OH, so my parents were looking after Rowan. My mum sent me a picture of my dad feeding him in his high chair.

He looked very relaxed and happy. I'm glad he has grandparents who love him and want to be in his life.

Though I'm not sure about the wisdom of putting the high chair on the rug rather than on the floorboards. Hello peach stains.
