Benson.... This evening I took Casper, Benson and Bramble for a quick spin. Otter was recovering from her hip/elbow score today.

In order to give Bramble a good retrieve, I popped Benson on a slip lead, although he is fairly good, he does LOVE to run in! So, on goes his lead. Bramble gets a super, dooper retrieve and of we all bimble. I get about 30 metres, and realise Benson is still where we left him! I had popped a slip lead on him, then seconds later, completely forgotten! Obviously I had asked him to sit and wait, and he had done just that! Bless him...still not remembering that I had popped him on a slip lead, I call him...He waits a nano-second, then with a dramatic toss of his head, he grabs the slip lead handle and bounds towards me! It was just so funny, and soooo Benson!

I've been speaking to Little Brother on the 'phone. If everything stays reasonably OK and there's no spike in infections, we will be in each other's 'bubble ' and he and Jenny will come to stay for a night or two in two to three weeks time! It's now thirteen weeks since I touched another person, or sat down to a meal with another person. I have coped, with the help of my GGJ, all of you and family and friends online, but Oh! the thought of a proper evening, even a whole weekend with people I love is making my heart soar, and I find myself beaming from ear to ear! Bigger than a smile!

The mouth is fab, because they used cautery it's sealed and is just a red mark. Just got to wait for the histology now

He's just had some growths taken off. It's a Labrador thing. He's fine
