and presenting that to him as if to say ‘this is what I play with‘. She is such a good girl and makes me proud and makes me smile

yes, but would only use it if they were completely round bread rolls - whereas a batch could be any shape, I think? - and once I realised it also meant boobies I tend to avoid using it
