It's Turkey, for the seventeenth time, can you believe it? It's a small group tour, fifteen nights starting in Istanbul and travelling to just about all the places Trevor and I wanted to visit in Turkey but didn't get round to. I can hear him cheering me on and saying 'Just go for it!' It's quite a busy itinerary, but with a few relaxing days included. A friend who has been single for many years recommended the travel company, she has been going with them for over 20 years and has had some wonderful holidays with like minded people, several of whom she's still in touch with. Quite a few single people go on these holidays but it's not a 'Singles holiday ' with all the possible implications. I'll be going to places I've wanted to see for years, with company and a room of my own to retreat to in the evenings if I want to. Sounds well worth a try to me!

That looks a lovely itinerary @Candy and something special to look forward to. We were staying in Bodrum when we went for the day to the ancient city of Ephesus. It was so so hot but we enjoyed walking all round it. A few years later we went to Istanbul for a week - we absolutely love that city - it was very special. I would like to see more of Turkey
