Spent a bit of free time with Gus in the garden today. He absolutely LOVES being out munching on tasty greens!
I am also working on Oreo staying calm and relaxed when he is out as she just wants to play with him! I started with her on the lead and then let her off and she did great. After about 20 minutes, she started to get a little excited so she went back on the lead.

Cassidy and Nia, all ready for school today. ( The new starters, year sevens, went a day before the rest of the school) I haven't seen them since February and I can't believe how much Cass has grown! He's fourteen now, and Mel says he's nearly as tall as her! (She's six feet tall) His Uncle Daniel is six feet five. At our wedding the photographer, who happened to be my Little Brother, said 'Family group shot now. All the tall people to the back please ' and absolutely everyone shuffled backwards because we are all tall!

It's scandi/Scottish. I can't say Ivan or Ivor easily with my accent it sounds like Iver so Iver it is. It means arrow and a few other things. All the pups in the litter are named after whiskey so I needed something Scottish. Iver is tarimoor bein dubh which is black mountain.Ah, lovely Iver, a year already? Darling boy

Gave Joy and Tess sardeens mixed in with their kibble for a treat at teatime. Now have two lots of fishy dog breath coming at me, one from each side! It's making me smile though. They're both very settled tonight.

Finn this evening...My oh walked him for his last walk of the day. When they get back Finn always gets a little cookie. He went to his bed and fell asleep, sort of. Then jumped up again, sit right in front of oh and seemed to be saying that he wants to go out. Performs the same as he always does in the evening before his last walk of the day. So oh got up and went with Finn to our garden. Finn stopped at the doorsteps while oh went into the garden. Finn looked at oh and seemed to think...”what on earth are you doing out there”....Oh came back into the living room with Finn and Finn stopped at the cupboard where his biscuits are. So oh gave him one extra. Finn went happily to his bed and fell fast asleep...

I have ordered a new bed for Tess. It's due to arrive tomorrow. You can feel the floor through her bed, so she kept going on Joy's, particularly her downstairs bed. GGJ is too polite to say anything to Tess, so she had started going to lie in the hallway. I have taken the cushion out of her landing bed and put it underneath Tess's bed, then encouraged Tess to lie there, as I feel Joy shouldn't be deprived of her own bed. So Tess lies on her old bed, but still makes for Joy's every time Joy moves out of it! I just thought it would be easier all round if there were two equally comfortable beds and anyway Tess deserves to be comfy just as much as Joy does, so off I went shopping on Amazon Prime! Anything to keep these girls happy!
