It's scandi/Scottish. I can't say Ivan or Ivor easily with my accent it sounds like Iver so Iver it is. It means arrow and a few other things. All the pups in the litter are named after whiskey so I needed something Scottish. Iver is tarimoor bein dubh which is black mountain.Ah, lovely Iver, a year already? Darling boy
