Unfortunately I've now broken Dry January on day five.... a new lowest recordWell done @Natalie and the floating on cloud 9 is well deserved!![]()
Never mind, a little celebration was very well deserved! You can always start again after the weekend.....that's if the new Lockdown doesn't make that an impossibility!Unfortunately I've now broken Dry January on day five.... a new lowest record![]()
And me, well more especially the sight of it.The thought of that teeny tiny coat keeps making me giggle
I don’t know if it’s any consolation @Selina27 but our garage now has around 40kilos of dog food, (over £100 worth) bought for Bear, which I’m not even sure he can (literally) stomach anymoreJust as a follow up to the coat purchasing mishap -- it formed part of an order my daughter placed before Christmas that also included a bag of dog food. It didn't arrive as expected and L being busy over Christmas with lambing she didn't make it to the usual suppliers, and my car was broken down so I couldn't go either.
Our usual lady from the local petshop, who will deliver, seemed to be having some days off. So a bit of a crisis yesterday -- we ran out of dog food .. oh no !!
My ever helpful son volunteered to go and pick some up from a pet store in town, I asked him to get a 2kg bag just to tide us over. For some reason he was sure I meant 20kg. He came bursting in very pleased with himself saying that while he was there he bought 2 x 20 kg bags for good measure!!They're not, they're 12kg, but nonetheless that's a lot of dog food !
On top of that, the order that had gone awol turned up this morning -- we now have 36 kg of food for 2 dogs and titchy tiny coat for a minature chihuahua which we don't have!![]()
