What made you smile today?

Rory went out for a walk this morning. Everyone said how much better he's looking. The new food is really agreeing with him and his usual cheekiness is back in his eyes. He looks sleek not skinny and ill now. He's been bouncing around and we even had Spartan awoooos on the way home. He's feeling so much happier.

Yes, I try to make sure we do a road walk a couple of times a week, the vet nurse told me it would help keep the nails back and I think she's right in Cassies case.
I walk down our lane once a day, it has recently been tarmac-ed and gravelled, but still Rourke's nails grow and grow! I try and trim them once a week, but often leave it for two as I forget!

That used to work with Sky and I never had to do a thing to her nails. Red’s nails grow regardless so they need regularly doing. I couldn’t do it on my own. F holds her (firmly but gently and distracting her) whilst I do them . She was much more passive this morning and I got them done quickly. She had special treats afterwards

I called in at our Vets this afternoon , to pick up flea/tick treatment for the motley crew . There was a lady in the waiting room with a large dog who was gorgeous but completely hyper . Poor lady was struggling to keep him under control , he was practically dragging her off the seat :pull: One of the nurses asked how he was doing since his recent castration . ` Oh he is doing well ` the lady replied , ` he is so much calmer ` , bless x

Joy and I were playing Find it! thismorning, with me throwing the ball into long grass. After a few successful finds she suddenly seemed to have a problem. It looked as though she had found the ball but for some reason was reluctant to pick it up. She kept approaching it, then cowering away and looking at me. Worried that there might be a sleepy wasp or something else potentially harmful there, I went over to check, and sure enough, right next to her precious ball was.......A Pile of Poo!:poo::shock:
Joy does NOT like to go near other dogs' poo, she has avoided it since she was a small puppy, and I had to smile at my funny fastidious girl today, refusing to put her delicate snout anywhere near the offending object and waiting for me to sort it out, which of course I did, being a good monkey butler!
