It is Silas`s 14th birthday today , and this photo came up in my memories on FB this morning . Much as we love Reuben to the moon and back , this photo of Silas and Sam will remain my favourite of all time , I have a print of it on my wall . The funny thing was that seconds after I took this , Sam freaked out and started to run , I shouted out to Silas to drop the lead , too late , he got very wet but saw the funny side xxx

Friday afternoon. I persuaded our Doc to bring his gorgeous, gentle Labradoodle Benji in to work as he was only doing phone calls/paper work. Benji spent some time in reception with me & 2 others, but I am TheLadyWithDogTreatsInHerDrawer and Benji knows it. He kept coming to me and offering his paw, but I sit in full view of the punters so eventually I had to return him before anyone complained. Big smiley afternoon all round.

After 1,750km of driving, we made it to our holiday. The boys have swam, splashed, bounced, climbed, eaten dinner and were fast asleep early. We've had a couple of bevvies on the deck of our cabin and will also head to bed early. Two mornings on the road at 3am have taken their toll but we're feeling good
