Spent a few hours gardening and moved all the roses that needed it and dug holes for a new one that's coming. I've also moved some overgrown things. It was hard because I'm not as capable as I used to be physically but I feel so good achieving what I have. Can't wait for them to grow my garden will be full of roses bees and butterflies

I didn't know Roses could be moved. I have a couple who could do with a change of scene. I admire your gardening, I have done nothing and no enthusiasm in this chilly weather, it does give a good sense of achievement though. Your garden will be beautiful.

It was really warm I was just in a tee shirt. As long as you're careful you can move things around. I will always give it a go I always think well they may need to be in a better place. Roses are tough I love them.

Wonderful @SwampDonkey. I am in a vest, top, top on top of that and padded (a little bit) trousers and frozen, there is quite a gale! Maybe I will give my roses a move. They do seem to get black spot though, despite my spraying them. Your garden is going to be glorious.

My son has told me that my birthday present (in July) will be two nights in a luxury spa hotel in Copenhagen with him.

How lovely!

He said he goes on lots of bike rides with Mr Boogs but never spends time just with his Mum.

We were brushing Chewie today and Rowan really wanted to help, so we reminded him to brush very gently, only on Chewies back and he did. Chewie was clearly quite relaxed about the whole thing as he just lay down in comfort on his mat. They are so good together- especially having seen how rough some other kids we know are with their dogs!
