I’d love to run a pet resort! If I were my brother (he has lots of land) I would!

:)
I want to do this too! Especially since seeing Maxx's photos and discovering 'The Country Dog Hotel' in Somerset; their USP is that they are a 'home from home' hotel for dogs, without kennels etc. and the dogs can sleep on beds (if that's what they're used to). They're pricey (£40 standard, £80 per night VIP package), but clearly people will pay
I keep thinking not many people seem to be doing this (and marketing it this way) - and there must be a demand, especially promoting force free methods.

Carbon and Monkey 'helping' me work this morning is making me smile.

It's a tough job but someone has to do it. :giggl:

What an excellent helper ☺

I was going to do public transport training with Echo (bus, tram then train) but chickened out - it’s so foul outside.

So we went to the garden centre and did lots of walking about then I treated myself to a nice plant. Echo was paw perfect. People take small dogs in the shopping trollies in the centre (only assistance dogs are allowed in on their paws) and Echo was interested but not in the least distracted. Good boy!

Public transport can wait a while!

That’s crazy prices. I hope that never happens around here. I pay less than £20 a night for Red. This including bedding and food - I choose to take her bed/bedding and her own food. She is allowed toys so I usually put in 3 things. There is 2 acres of paddock for her to run around in twice a day with her buddies. I reckon she’s so tired when she goes in her kennel, she just wants to sleep. The staff there are so good and kind with the dogs - that’s the kind of pampering she needs
