A marvellous birthday meal for a friend at a posh restaurant in Manchester. It is in a really nice up-and-coming posh district. There were six of us, we went on the train and Echo didn’t put a paw wrong. It was one of those places where they bring the meat to the table on giant skewers. He didn’t even put a sniffy nose up.

The staff adored him.
