What made you smile today?

I met up with my dog training friend this morning - so nice to chat face to face again (though faces not that close I hasten to add ) We'd hired a sand school to practise rally but didn't get much done as it was too hot for both the dogs. On the way home I stopped at a river and Molly had a whale of a time splashing in the water and really racing along the bank - suddenly she wasn't worn out any longer! I had only intended to stop for 10 minutes to let her cool off in the water but when I said it was time to go her little face looked so disappointed that we ended up doing a proper walk for an hour with her jumping in and out of the water the whole way. She was so happy, I loved it!

Rowan has only just started sitting on my lap for about 30 seconds... Otherwise it's just go go go. I want more snuggles because they are so lovely!

They used to call Carbon "Gordi" at the shelter. That's short for fat and small (gordito). The indignity! And the irony as now I can't weight on him.
