My daughters best friend getting the job of her dreams as a teacher in a local village primary school today.
She's wanted to teach since she was fined but getting the qualifications hasn't come easily to her and that and being enormously overweight has meant her self esteem hasn't always been the best, but she's persevered and got where she wants to be, I am so pleased for her

A lovely smiley morning here . Reubs went off with Anna so we got Nelly into the car and drove over the moor, finding ourselves at M&S in Launceston , how did that happen I wonder ? I bought some nice bits for over the weekend and some even nicer bits for my BD next week , then back over the moors . We parked up and I walked Nelly on lead across the moor for half an hour whilst Paul stayed by the car and ate two sausage rolls Back home and did a spot of gardening before the whirlwind comes home, nothing spectacular but just a lovely start to the day

That does sound the perfect way to start the day. Rourke and I were invited out for coffee and we sat in a beautiful garden and looked up to the range of the Malvern Hills.

Took GGJ to the vet today for boosters and annual check. I wasn't allowed to go in with her for her appointment and I wasn't sure if she would go without me, but she was a brave girl and went with the nurse just a little reluctantly. The vet came to speak to me after, he's very happy with the shape she's in, says her weight and everything else is absolutely fine and she's still his favourite patient! GoodGirlJoy!

Ella has her vaccinations on Monday. The handover in the carpark will probably suit us as Ella is more calm/relaxed when we're not with her.

Ella is certainly not a GGJ at the vet but I can't blame her for being scared
