It's horrible living next door to such a nasty dog. I did for years he's died and I can now use the garden and the back door at last. You'll find life improving for Jess now it must have been horrible for her and you.

It must have been very stressful for poor Jess to live nextdoor to a dog she was scared of. I'm glad that they've moved.Yes, it has been a huge drag. We were going to move ourselves last year, and getting away from That F-ing Dog was one of the main motivations! Imagine if we'd ended up back next door to themI can already see a difference with Jess in terms of barking and am so looking forward to a summer where we can use the garden.
Well there is no answer to thatDon't EVER trust a man with a large kitchen!![]()
Yay so pleased for you. I wish my neighbour at the bottom of the garden would move. She has caused lots of problems for other neighbours over the years. Our bugbear is her dogs who ‘lie in wait’ behind the fence and snarl when I take Red out for a wee. Despite masses of training on our part, Red still reacts to the snarl. I said to F yesterday I am not looking forward to the spring/summer because of this. Red is never out in the garden on her own but she knows and hears (as I sometimes do) that they are lurking the other side of the fence (which is her fence and is in a shocking state which is another issue for us!). It’s such a shame as I love where we liveas he was often at our fence, snuffling and heavy breathing and frightening her.
This is why I so much enjoyed working with older people. I was giving out medication on a ward once in those little plastic cup things that we used to use and a lady turned and said to the lady sitting next to her, 'Ooooh, look! I think they're bringing the drinks round!'My smile for today was an elderly gentleman in the English vaccination clinic asking me what injection he'd just had, when I answered "Pfizer" his countenance brightened and he said "Cider"?![]()
Things have moved on -- they're given IM now !!I think they're bringing the drinks round!'
Oh gosh, that's a totally different level from ours. Must have been awful for you.I had to get the dog warden involved. It bit Moo twice and grabbed Doug round the neck by breaking the fence 3 times. I had to fight it off me with a metal pole and it got through another neighbours fence and attacked him. I installed a 12 hundred quid fence to stop it and it was still trying to bash it down. It was like a zoo animal. Dog and human aggressive from day one. Just glad it's gone it had a terrible life
