What made you smile today?

I wish I could speak at least another language. I try to learn French on and off but its a case of one step forward and three steps back. All the courses I have found are all about accurate spelling of all the tenses. I need to find dyslexic friendly French that's all about the speaking and conversation.
@JES72, Duolingo is free and quite simple, would be a good way to start.

You ALWAYS look gorgeous @Jen ! I would never look even approachable in a onesie! (Although I did get a 'you're gorgeous!' once in a boiler suit, but that was about a million years ago and in Brixton, where things were a bit different!:cwl:
I've contemplated buying a boiler suit. They are on trend and look so comfy... But I suspect they are one of those things that only slim people can pull off, not those of us who have been gifted with large bottoms.

Today I giggled because now Rowan can ask for "more" in two languages. Having someone yelling "Mehr!" at me when I'm too slow is certainly interesting.

Oh bless my boy, he did so make me smile this morning . We had an electrician here to fit a new fire in the sitting room , so I put both dogs in the kitchen behind the gate . The man did come and say Hello , fussing them both but our sitting room is too small to have dogs romping around while something is being done . So , he did the job and left , I went to open the baby gate whereupon Nelly came flying into the room , but no Reuben despite calling him . I went to see , he was still standing there behind the open gate , bless my sensitive boy xx

We got back from our walk and sat down for a coffee. Holly was a bit restless and brought Mr Humpycushion to entice us into a play. We just wanted to sit and have our coffee, but Holly was determined to play.

Realising that Mr Humpycushion wasn't working his usual magic, she went to her box and brought us a tennis ball.
Then a squeaky ball.
Then another tennis ball.
Then the plastic rugby ball.
Then the squeaky chicken.
Then another tennis ball.
Then the furry octopus......

In the end she wore us down and we had a play.
