Debbie has just been over to sit in the garden and do some phone tuition , she brought Silas . Reuben was overjoyed to see them both . I was so thrilled to see Silas doing some simple obedience with the big lad, just sit/stay stuff but it really lifted my spirits xx

Well I did make it bigger but still only counted the same. Then I realised I had not gone right to the edge and I did count the tulips, same as @HAH originaly but realised when I made the screen bigger

@kateincornwall I'm so glad Debbie sorted your phone before I got there because I probably would have just made us both cry!

What made me smile today was seeing Kate, Paul, Reuben and Nellie. Carbon is now snoring happily after having seen his buddy Reuben and enjoying two massive poos in Kate's garden. I think he may have also drank some tadpoles. As an added bonus, Carbon's ears are the cleanest they've ever been in his life thanks to Reuben's amorous attentions.

Oh and I think Carbon has decided he prefers being an only dog after all after stealing Reuben's toys, hogging them and then having me take them off him when he got snippy about sharing. After we got home, he ran around the house with his Batty and his blanket as if to say, "They're MINE, all MINE!!!".

After a manic 3-4 weeks at work where I could only manage to read a few posts per day, I've just had a pedicure and had a lovely catch-up with everyone's news

After 5 days of rain (pull out your tiny violins, Brits) we've finally got some sun. Xena caught some rays this morning. I love seeing her so hot and shiny. Note the drying Ruff and Tumble and shoes from yesterday's drenching . And the broken chair from the stormy weather:



I've also made a tiramisu for Easter *chef's kiss* After an epic fail yesterday (a batch of hot cross buns ended up in the garbage disposal, that's how much fail we're talking about), I've got another batch doing their second rising. that it doesn't happen again.

This photo has made me smile so much. This is my little grandson (he’ll be 3 next month). When I was leaving their garden yesterday, he said ‘I love you Granny’. Music to my ears - I’ve hardly seen this little boy for a year, haven’t been able to touch him or give him a hug, had to keep my distance because of this wretched virus......yet he says those words

Really good! I couldn't have coped with another failed batch. I think I need to increase the sugar content by 1/4 cup, though. I've been eating bakery buns for the past month and mine just weren't as good, and I think it's the lack of sweetness. Hmm. But maybe I shouldn't be comparing mine to an award-winning recipe
