I have one for 30th April, meanwhile daughter cut off the bottom of my hair with my paper cutting scissors, in the garden, in a wind

I did that in November. Had my long hair cut into a really trendy slightly inverted bob. I love it!! xx

Tuppence spent the whole time standing by the wine rack below the kitchen worktop while I was eating my supper. She shuffled around, moved away, went back to have another look, sniffed, stood waiting... Eventually when I had finished eating I got a torch and went to investigate. Apart from a bit of dust, there was one small pea on the shelf between two bottles. It must have escaped and dropped there somehow when I was dishing up. I threw it to Tuppy and she went away, perfectly happy.

My hair appointment is for Tuesday. Can't wait, struggling to see where I'm going ,particularly when it's windy! Also looking forward to a good chat with Sean, lovely man who's been taming my hair for 15 years now, brave man!

I cut Rowan's hair over the weekend. I've seen some of those awful toddler haircuts done by hairdressers and thought I could do better. He looks pretty cute!

What made me smile was my heavily pregnant friend getting the gift voucher we sent her to stock her fridge with delicious prepared food. She has struggled with IVF for ages and we are so happy with her. She is due in about a month. Yay!

It’s my daughter’s birthday next week. She doesn’t know what we can give her so I shall give her money but I wanted to give her a gift. My RekI lady is putting a gift voucher in the post for her so she can choose either Reiki or a full body massage

I ordered my click and collect library books yesterday, hoping to pick them up today. Our tiny library is only open for 2 hrs on a Tuesday and again on Saturday. The lovely librarian had only just got the list and hadn't had time to action it when I turned up, but I was so crestfallen that she went and chose two books out of the genres I had requested, to keep me happy until Tuesday .

Well, I was the same, I used to take my son and daughter when they were small, but as they grew up less so and then work and being a single parent left me precious little time for reading, so I didn't go for years. I only started to go again about 2 years ago. I did still have my card and have the same one. They had to do something to reactivate it, I forget what, but it was soon back in business!

Joy and Loki, our Spaniel nextdoor neighbour often end up swapping toys. Thisafternoon I was upstairs ironing when Joy ran to the front door barking. I went down to see what all the fuss was about and saw thisBlue dinosaur had been put through the letter box!
