What made you smile today?

I saw my Mil Fil and my mum today. First time in nearly 15 months. I took my mum some gin.

How are they Sarah?

Mil is very frail and amusingly crazy. Shes very whimsical and extremely sweet. So we teased her and I chatted to her for ages. She was mostly ok but just the odd slide into crazy town. She's very easy though and easy to divert back to ok. she still has a real sense of humour. Fil is still horrid but his cognitive function is very scattered and he's not really very functional he seems depressed but it's still all about him He moaned about the carers and was just mean about them.
My mum was hilarious we just laughed from start to finish she was happy to see me and I her. She was impressed with the facial scar from the lump. We spent time in the garden we had a great time.

Monkey Butler gets up and opens door, Lilly stands firm, puppy and Oreo run out, Lilly walks away.

Nelly , what a character she is . She often flatly refuses to walk in the rain and yet if she gets out in the garden we have the devil of a job to get her back in despite torrential rain . Eventually one of us ( usually me ) has to go and catch her, soaking wet and filthy , then its sink time xx

I’m in Plymouth visiting @nayasminime
I wasn’t sure how Harley would be with Lyla being in season, but they have been the same as they always are . We booked a secure field today to let them run around and Harley initiated play between them twice. They loved running about and playing. On the way back to OJ’s, Harley led down and Lyla led down and put her head on top of Harley’s They have enjoyed spending time together.

I have spent some time this morning on ebay, buying my sister who is 75, (who has dementia), some Elvis dvds and cds. She loved him when she was young. You should of seen her face light up when I told her.

All of Stanley’s training of Rory has finally paid off.

Rory shouts more more next to him when he’s eating and goes to the cupboard with his bowl shouting more more.

Stanley is in full agreement with this.

Squidge is on special food at the moment so can't have chicken at lunchtime. I take her out for some training while J feeds the rest of them and then when we get back, she gets a Kong. She thinks she's getting something the others aren't and so she's all sorts of excited about every part of this (and clearly hasn't clocked that she's been chickenless for over a week!).

This lunchtime, same routine as always. Except Ginny obviously got fed up that SHE wasn't getting a Kong, so she went and nicked it. Twice. Squidge just let her and looked sad.

"Poor little cripple" my arse. She's a monster!!
