What made you smile today?

My mam is having Rory tonight. She knew how exhausted I was and she’s thrown me a bone. She knows I would feel too guilty to agree to her having him to do me a favour so she’s said it’s her birthday tomorrow and what she wants is to wake up and open her presents with her favourite person in the world so could she have him tonight.

She’s the best 🥰

Today I received my great uncle's WW1 medals, 105 years after his death. When they had been delivered in the 1920's, his brothers/sisters had all moved from the family home and his parents were both dead. So the medals were returned to MOD. I read an article about the MOD reissuing the medals if they had been return by the Royal Mail and the family had not received them. I am proud to have them and will have them framed.
