We had my in-laws and all three kids at our house for an outdoor supper for Father’s Day! Eldest son attended for a short while via phone call, but all the rest in person, and it was fabulous! We had a great feast and a wonderful visit

The down side at the moment is that he has croup and nobody has slept. He is on his "sick" diet of fruit and milk.
Yay, we finally start at dog training tonight with Bear! only waited for a place for ... um... a year!
It's outside on grass with just four other dogs so loads of space with no need to interact with the other dogs and owners . I've been holding out for this school as they are totally positive and do loads of other stuff like agility, scent work, gun dog, rally, with each trainer leading on their expert area.
I'm sure the first class will be difficult, but really looking forward to some more formal training.

Swampy, I can pretty much smell that lovely rose from here!

It's very beautiful. I'm only just learning about roses. You clearly have a knack with them that I lack. I can do Labradors though, so that's alright!
I've found them to be an easy going plant very resilient. I've learnt that they like the soil here and just had to improve it a bit for them

Holly got very confused about slippers this morning. She came home from a walk with Ruth and was sent to fetch her slippers. At the same time I was getting ready to go out so I'd just taken my slippers off. The result was that Holly kept trying to give my slippers to Ruth. We could see Holly thinking that she'd just fetched two slippers, and not understanding why Ruth would want any more.
