It's my darling boy's Birthday today he's 8. It's been a difficult few months for him but he's starting to look and feel a bit better. Happy Birthday Rory you always make me smile

We were packing Rowan's stuffed toys into a bucket today (general playroom organisation) and Chewie very gently brought his teddy over and put it in the bucket.

Oh that's gorgeous, I love it so much when they do things like that, when they've obviously thought it out.

Chewie doing that reminds me of when my daughter was about 10 she was getting ready early one morning for a sports outing, gathering all her stuff together and putting it by the door. The collie we had then was very attached to her, he went and fetched a blanket from his bed and put it on top of the pile, and then sat by it as if to say "I'm ready" !

Yes I would love to know his though processes. It's really interesting- he has a very clear idea of boundaries regarding his toys and Rowan's. He doesn't care if Rowan touches his toys but never takes Rowan's toys.

Chewie's been on top form today. I had a strata (owners corp) meeting today on teams and the moment I was asked my first question by a committee member he started barking and had a massive indoor zoomie.

So happy the little doggie was found and captured last night. She safe warm and well fed at home. They caught her with a few friendly dogs and super smelly nice food. Betty is safe
