Just look at how Joy looks at you! She's watching your every move! How do you train that?' I had to admit that it is entirely due to her being a Labrador and me having a pocket full of treats.

I get this comment a lot too and marvel at how people do not seem to notice that Carbon is actually staring at my treat pouch that hangs very much in sight off of my backpack straps. "But he loves you so much!". Um...well, I hope he DOES love me, but the reason he is paying attention to me is the treat bag.

On a more serious note, I'm glad that Jonny has Chester to help him deal with Charlie Beagle's loss. We all know that one does not make up for or replace the other, but it does help you focus on the dog in front of you and not go so within yourself.

Is he jealous of the treat, or of Loki the Spaniel nextdoor for giving the treat? If it's the latter, tell him he needn't worry, Loki doesn't appear to have gone up in Joy's estimation at all. She tolerates him and is polite but he's still a bit too puppyish for her.
However, mature handsome Maxx (particularly with two kisses)...well! Who knows?!

I've had a good day. I've achieved all the goals I set and set things up nicely for the next week and a half injected myself in the belly and organised as much as possible to make sure there's no trouble. I also did a major save in the office so I'm going home on the bus feeling good. I feel rightious and am in control of my treatment

Just remembering that three years ago was the day I came back to my Joy after a week in Istanbul. She was only twenty two months old and had been looked after at home by the husband of the friend who I went away with. I can honestly say that I have never, ever had such a massive welcome from anyone in my entire life! If ever I had been concerned about the bond we were forming or anything else, that was all completely gone and the only possible way from there had to be up. She's here now of course, sleeping on my feet. I couldn't really be smiling more. Bless my girl.xxxxxxx

This is Jane who used to work on the Ski School in Soldeu and who trained me up to be qualified to teach adaptive skiing. She’s now Chef de Mission for the NZ Paralympic team and she deserves every accolade she and her team get. I couldn’t be prouder of her!

Within an hour, I have sold Red’s two Perfect Fit harnesses that she hated. Lady has just been with her 5 month old retriever (gorgeous dog). We put the smaller one on and it was just perfect! She’s taken both of them. One very happy dog owner and I’m pleased for them to be gone and have a little bit of a return on them

Yesterday I took a video of this tree swaying around in the wind



This belongs to the horrible woman that lives behind us that has caused us do much stress over the fence, her dogs, her trees (I could go on). Today, amazingly, I saw this as I was working in the kitchen



and then this



There are many more trees not in this photo - they don’t obstruct our view or our sunlight but they are so ridiculously big and tall and look horrible. I am keeping fingers crossed more will be pruned properly
