What made you smile today?

Chewie doesn't usually ask for play, but gets it incidentally when we are outside. We have all been sick and he got a bit bored this afternoon. He stood on the bed, looked me in the eye, squeaked and ran into the backyard to get his ball. We had a little game of fetch. Maybe he thought I needed cheering up?

Our neighbouring village has scarecrows out as part of the Jubilee celebrations, they look so jolly and happy along the main street and definitely bring a smile to our faces :):)

Mind you someone has dressed up a mannekin which stands directly opposite the junction from my village, she sort of eyeballs you as you approach, just a tad scary :scared::scared:

Oh no ! @Jelinga , is there someone local who could help you to sort this out ? We will miss you xxxx

It is a problem with the internet. I have had BT here twice and a new hub, mended fault on line but it hasn't restored internet to what it was before, it seems to come and go! We cannot have fast band here and very ancient telephone lines (1971). I will keep trying here, but if I appear to ignore some posts and not others, it is because sometimes the internet just doesn't work and at other times it is so SLOW! BT say they can do no more so looking at Air Band but that means not having a landline!.

I haven't been able to post this for last hour, still waiting!

Am giving up now .....

Are you sure it's the internet? As Kate says is there someone who can help you? It might be your laptop .
What about your grandchildren, can they advise?
Neighbour across the road has exactly the same problem! Am looking into Airband but don't want to make any hasty decisions. Grandson is occasionally helpful but lives about 50 minutes away and always seems to be incredibly busy! I don't want to be a nuisance!

This dog is so cheeky. Absolutely knows he shouldn’t be on there but springing around like a gazelle with a big eff you to Nathan:giggl:
