This was what I was met with when I went to get him out of the car this morning after our walk ! He had pulled a bag of chopped up sausages out of my bag and had a right old feast !

I thought at first he had pilfered some sausages you had bought from the butcher, but then decided they had been cooked and cut up for him and Nelly...:giggl:.....hope it WAS the latter

In ten days time I'm flying out to Calgary, in Canada. From there I will be joining a small group tour that takes us through the Rockies and after two weeks ends in Vancouver. Then I will meet up with my lovely nephew Sam, who now lives in Vancouver. (I haven't seen him since New Year's Eve 2017, so am very excited about this!) I will then spend three days with Sam and his partner before flying home to GGJ, one of these days being my birthday. Today a parcel has arrived from Little Brother (Sam's Dad). It contains these three items, complete with Strict Instructions!20230816_130020.jpg20230816_130028.jpg20230816_130034.jpgSo now I am most intrigued and also smiling, because it's very typical Little Brother!😆

Sounds wonderful Candy, I'm very jealous.
A week on Saturday G and I were supposed to be flying off to San Francisco for 5 days followed by a flight up to Seattle to cruise up the Inside passage for a week.
Sigh.
Best laid plans.

Have an absolute ball @Candy and send loads of photos.
Really excited to find out what's in your parcels!

Hoping to plan an adventure in a couple of years. A retirement gift 😉

So sorry you're having to miss a much looked forward to trip Jacqui-S, but Yes! Make travel and adventure a thing to look forward to when you reach retirement! It plays a big part in my life now( although not as much as GGJ of course) and I get so much from it.
