UK Tour Guide
I advertised Red’s first little Ancol harness for a few pounds on Facebook’s Marketplace which was like new as she hardly wore it. A woman contacted me from somewhere else in the UK asking if I’d post it. She had an interesting tale. She is a dog Walker and walks a 14 year old small dog who has a harness exactly like my one. That harness broke and the owner bought a new harness which the dog was terrified of. So the dog Walker had searched for one the same as the broken one as Ancol don’t make those anymore. The plan was to put the two harnesses together overnight so the smell of the original one transferred to the new one. I duly sent it and asked if she’d let me know if the plan worked. I had a really lovely message today together with a photo of the dog in the harness - the plan had worked and everyone was really happy Including me 😊

Eating my evening meal thisevening, on my lap by the Fireinametalbox, as I do at this time of year unless I have visitors. GGJ in a deep sleep on her bed beside my chair. Suddenly she woke up and headed for the door in a purposeful manner. I was about to let her out, when she saw that I was eating and immediately resumed her position on her bed.
Veryvery polite dog, or just, recognising the bit of Labrador in me, and thinking ' There's no way she's going to move now!'? I don't know, but it made me smile. Clever girl, either way!:inlove::heart:

What a good boy Stanley! Maxx isn't allowed in the kitchen either but waddles in and out as he pleases. Sigh. I'll give him some credit as he runs to his mat on the other side of the kitchen bench as soon as he is asked so I'm guessing he doesn't actually know he is not allowed in. The other day I didn't know he had snuck up behind me and I yanked open a drawer and accidentally clocked him on the head. I felt terrible but he just shook it off
