Today we had Keir with us while the things from their flat were being loaded into the van that was taking them to their new home in Leeds. It was sad to say goodbye having known him and his hooman since 2019, and being used to seeing them around so frequently, but he always enjoys the garden so much that it makes me smile to think of them having a garden of their own now. Lots of hugs, cuddles and promising to keep in touch, then we waved them off to start the next chapter in their lives, but not before a final photo of the pair of them.

Today I had a non-dog thing that made me smile (a shocker, I know): first sighting of sea pinks on the coastal path! For me they always mean that spring is truly here.

It’s at the Bedruthan Steps, one of my favorite “I feel lazy” walks because despite the name…no stairs!
Good point! So since it was a Carbón sniffy walk, it WAS a dog thing.Ah yes, but if you're with your dog at the time of the happy occasion, I'd still class it as a "dog thing".

F had a flying lesson this morning. He was able to fly over our house/village. I watched him take off/land from the airfield. He loved it

We once went up in a 'plane like that with a friend of OH's. The airport is only a couple of miles from our house as the crow flies, and the little light aircraft often use our estate as a visual beacon to hold while waiting for permission to land as it's very distinctive from above. We got to circle our house a few times

No it’s part of his special birthday presents last December. We have several things lined up. He did enjoy it though but as Joy says too expensive to do more.
He was able to attach his 360 camera inside the cockpit so he has a record of it all including going over our house
