I love this one, shiny coat and shiny surface he is standing on. Yes, it could be a pfft expression, but I think he is smiling in a knowing way, sharing his thoughts with you x

His thoughts are probably along the lines of: “Bueno, you stand me in this same slippery wet bench every time we are in Florence, when I would really like to go see our amigos on the other side of town and walk in the pine forest on the church hill where I can play with new puppy amigos and eat poo, and then go to my querida sandwich shop. So huuuuuurrrry! Andiamo!”

I have a friend in the village. She has a black Labrador called Bailey. Bailey adores Red and she him. Sadly Bailey can’t be let off lead as he runs off and doesn’t come back so when we see them on our walk, they can‘t play. He’s usually on an extending lead which I find rather dangerous as it gets wrapped around Red’s legs. She said they were taking Bailey to a dog play park and could they take Red. So today, Red was collected by car and taken with Bailey to this play park. Apparently they had a great time and she sent a few photos. Red is now back home and fast asleep . It felt strange letting my girl go off on a play date but all is well and they will do it again in the future

Yes I always feel a bit sorry for him….but then I saw what happened once when he was off lead and it was hard to get him back. It’s nice they are giving him that opportunity and including Red too
