Wound soothing cream

Has anyone used a wound soothing cream? Homer has some nicks of his legs where various needles and intravenous drips were placed on his legs that he is beginning to lick.

Try medical grade manuka honey , Amazon sell it . I used it on Reuben after his surgery, Homer might lick a bit off but a fair amount will stick , its wonderful stuff , even Vets recommend it x

I use calendula cream. Very healing. I haven’t used manuka honey though!

Yup, I have used Suducreme on dogs, cats, chickens and ducks, works very well and is soothing.

I guess if large amounts are consumed it could cause D&V and some other symptoms but you are talking about eating an entire 500g pot......

Hope you find something to stop Homer licking. I have used Sudocrem in the past but thought the zinc in it was not good for dogs. If it becomes a big problem then get some Betafuse from the vet. It’s a steroid so has to be applied very thinly but works well
