Geez, what a saga. Does sound a bit like the vet is guessing but at least she’s not dismissing it and is on the case, trying to work it out etc. Sometimes health mysteries can be tough to crack...
That has crossed my mind Sophie. There's a sort of white discharge on his bottom sometimes (yuck sorry) which I wondered if could possibly be thrush or the doggy equivalent. I mentioned it to the vet but they didn't seem concerned. Hopefully the Glandex wipes will help.Women frequently get thrush after a course of antibiotics...it's not crazy that dogs could also get something similar?
