Things could change but it's a good start. Iver goes out on his own and plays with other dogs. Hopefully their relationship will get stronger as Iver grows. Rorys benefitted too he's really enjoying having s little friend even if he's a bit of a silly pup sometimes

I am so happy , Silas is back home after his school camping trip , and he had a fantastic time . He did all the activities on offer, kayaking , climbing , snorkeling plus the ten mile walk . A couple of years ago , he would not have had the confidence to try new things , he would have been on the outside looking in , and I do have a big black dog to thank for helping Silas in his struggles , brave lad xxx

@Jen Rory is looking like he's at that age where they get fun. Um, not that little babies aren't lovely, but I'm partial to the 6 months + when their personalities really shine through. Rory's is shining through.

@kateincornwall that's great news about Silas. He's darn brave to take on snorkelling (and the other things for that matter) in October!

Carbon's zoomies on the beach at sunset made me smile too. I'm so grateful for this dog. Even when he's pulling his Señor Grumpypantalones face, he makes my life so much better. Maybe ESPECIALLY when he's pulling that face, because it really makes me laugh.

You’re so right, the newborn stage is bloody hard work and they’re lovely and snuggly but I was ready for him to be more interactive. Now he’s so much fun.. and even better, can be entertained for a while so I can get things done!

He’s such a lovely happy lad now. I even, in one of my crazy mam moments, googled “why does my baby never cry with tears?” Because he cries that little. Just the occasional huff and puff then he’s back laughing.

We bought Kipper a new bed - we’re hoping it’ll become his ‘main’ bed eventually. He’s taken to it very well, I snuck round the corner to take this photo (thus the quality, it’s heavily zoomed in as I wanted to catch him in the wild!)

Wow! Chewie still has his from when he was about 10 weeks old. He carries it around and gently nibbles its ears.

Monkey on the other hand has no tail and 1 remaining limb.

Not been smiling much recently - in fact felt so awful and upset this morning but doesn’t do to dwell. F decided to photograph a pumpkin in the garden (don’t ask why!!) and Red went outside with him. I was watching from the conservatory. He asked Red to sit and stay and placed the pumpkin in front of her and proceeded to take photographs. Then round the corner of the conservatory came a cat with a mouse in it’s mouth. Red looks and then remembers she has been asked to sit and stay. You can see she is torn - to chase the cat or follow what she has been asked to do. She stays . The cat eyes her up and decides to turnaround and jump over the fence. F is blissfully unaware of this dilemma going on before his eyes
