We will miss you and please be aware that Toby will be here when you come back and will want to cuddle you.
Come back soon please.
Not gone yet: I still have until 29 February in blustery Cornwall. Benson and Cassie have to visit and @Selina27 is coming for fish and chips! :D

But I will definitely take Toby up on that cuddle. Sweet little hombre that he is.

Is the tug leading towards Carbon doing things like pulling off your socks for you?
Good question. It could lead to things like that, but I don't personally need that task. What it actually was for was making me write my own training plan. So far our trainer has included steps and videos for each behaviour. For this she wanted us to write our own and then film it.

I learned a lot in our session tonight from the experience. I chose an object that was too floppy, I shook it in his face which is irritating (sorry Carbon) and generally was WAY too excited. I also went on for too long, making him bored with the whole thing. So for next session one of my assignments is to re-write my plan and tackle it again.

By the way, our trainer doesn't say things like, "You are acting like a chicken with your head cut off and it's freaking Carbon out". She asks me questions about Carbon's reactions so that I can see that for myself and figure out what to do to improve. She's very R+ with humans as well as dogs. :D
