I done a shop online for Harley’s frozen food and fish skins last night around 11pm......it arrived at 6.15pm tonight! I buy from an independent small pet shop owner which sells all natural foods for dogs. The owner delivered it himself and said that hes trying to ensure that all of the regular customers had food for their dogs and if we become isolated and need prescriptions or anything to give him a call as he is local too. Such a nice person.

I had to have a discussion with Homer about rationing and that he was only allowed one carrot after dinner as the shops don't have any carrots at the moment.

In Cape Town, one of the supermarket chains is only allowing pensioners in for the first hour in the morning. Reasons: freshly cleaned and sanitized, not too busy so everyone can keep their distance, hopefully no jostling!, queues are shorter and quicker (less being bought per person) so not a lot of waiting, and hopefully the shelves are restocked.

I mentioned in a previous post that there is not much hoarding being done. Not anymore. Supermarket shelves are empty. My husband said it looked like locusts had been through. The madness has reached our shores. And our house. We have bags of dried beans. I see a lot of curry in my future.

Now as a cleaner I have a major issue with a tin from 36 years ago, not whats in the tin but have they not cleaned their cupboards for that long.

Every time I sort out my herbs and spices there are pots from 10 years ago! I could swear I only bought some of them a few months ago.

Loving these new smilies etc. by the way, nice new look for the 'likes' etc.
