It wouldn't be my personal choice as I'm all about the Celtic names, but if I met a dog named Bertie, I'd think it was charming. And even more intriguing for a big dog as it's not what you'd expect. I really like your idea of George as well. It goes nicely with Monty's name.

Honestly, I think when you actually meet Mr. Lime Green and spend some time with him, the right name will just rise to top. Whatever you choose will be the right one.
