What made you smile today?

Our swimming pool is back open.

We’re taking Rory for the first time since March.

He’s at a really tricky age at the minute - he wants to do EVERYTHING but he’s too little to do most things so I think swimming will be good for him.

Oh how I wish soft play was available😭

This is Rowan too. He can walk well, but is too small for a lot of playground equipment even if he is coordinated enough to use it. We were asking at the pool the other day... Lessons start in October but we can hire half the kiddy pool for just our family.
These boys having an afternoon cuddle made me smile today:IMG_20200805_142540.jpg

We went out for a walk and Squidge found some irrigation puddles... J started filming about five minutes in.

W&S are on lead because there's a very barky dog at this farm, and she's just had puppies so I didn't want to push my luck, even though they're normally OK with her.
Oh! HAPPIEST of happy dogs! What a wallow! Lovely to see.
Mind you, I'm not the one who has to hose/wipe her down later :giggl:

I am curious! What is an irrigation puddle??? I can see what looks like jets of water, but where are they coming from? @snowbunny ?
At 0:35, you can see the horizontal black pipe? That's a wide-bore irrigation pipe that's essentially strung between two trees (it goes all around the olive trees on the perimeter). Then there are two smaller vertical pipes coming down. Water is pumped through the wide-bore pipe and it falls to the ground to water the olives. I don't know why these are in the air rather than on the ground - at the same time stamp, you can see in the field behind that there are black pipes laying at the foot of the rows of olive trees.

@snowbunny did I hear 'She's not my dog'? from J?:cwl:
You did! Whenever one of them has been disgusting, we always palm them off as the other one's dog :cwl:

Mind you, I'm not the one who has to hose/wipe her down later
Honestly, this was nothing. A few minutes earlier, Willow had rolled in dead wild boar. :puke:
