Simba is fine, no worries. When we first got him he ate tons of grapes off the vine in our backyard, before I knew grapes were an issue. His poos were literally more grape seed than poo at one point.

It was a store bought fruitcake, basically a long narrow rectangle, with marzipan icing. OH had bought it yesterday. He had two slices, I had one. Yes, it was left on the counter. Should have known better but he hardly ever counter surfs anymore....We were downstairs watching TV when I heard a slight plastic rustling sound...sprinted up to see him coming out of the kitchen with THE WHOLE THING in his mouth...a slightly manic tug of war commenced...eventually the fruitcake broke under the stress and Simba ate his prize. I’m more concerned about the cardboard the thing was sitting on (also consumed, along with the plastic wrap) than the fruitcake itself, to be honest. I thought he might upchuck last night but of course he slept soundly as an innocent lamb.
He’s bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning, and has had breakfast. So we’ll see.
