It looks like Storm Christoph is due to hit us some time tomorrow, we have an orange weather warning. It's probably a good week for Joy to be on restricted walks! I don't worry for us, we're far too high up to flood but my good friends Jason and Sofija have only had their repairs and restoration following the last floods finished since just before Christmas and I hate to think of them going through all that again for the third time in five years. I won't even be able to help them clean up this time due to Covid restrictions.
Lambies and fingers crossed for them. :fingers: :thelambiesarecoming::thelambiesarecoming::thelambiesarecoming:

They are very stoical (is that a word, or should I be saying 'they exhibit great stoicism '?)
Anyway, what they usually do is move everything upstairs then go to the pub. Of course if it happens again this time the latter won't be an option for them. Their house is a tall and narrow house, with only a galley kitchen and a dining area downstairs and all the rest spread over a further two storeys which don't flood, so it's not as drastic for them as for some, but still I really hope it doesn't happen to them or anyone again. The Calder Valley has had enough and there's a part of me that thinks if this was Westminster, Chelsea or Knightsbridge something might have been sorted out by now.
