Weather

Oh sorry about your trees, but how are the girls doing with the snow @snowbunny ?
The Spanish ladies are NOT impressed. Talia hardly came outside for the last two days, bless her. She didn't even come to the gate for her chicken carcass at lunchtime, which is a big deal for her.
The big olive tree in their compound was badly damaged and a couple of branches came down on Saturday night, so I imagine that having that strewn around their area was as unsettling as the snow. We cleared it yesterday morning and the sun's out now, so hopefully the snow won't last much longer and she'll settle down again. She's just enjoyed a tuna Kong in bed, so life isn't too bad :D

We are having such perfect weather at the moment. Every day is 28-30 and sunny. Pity we didn't have it while we were on holidays but what can you do. At least I'm still WFH so can get in a couple of swims each day.

Maxx is finding it a bit hot but he is ok inside. His new favourite spot is on the upstairs balcony where he can catch some breeze. He does this especially when Steve is out (which he is now) so he can watch for his returnIMG_20210114_095618910_HDR.jpg

Yesterday was almost springlike , I even had the back door open for a while to dry my mopped kitchen floor, no heating on until teatime . It then rained overnight but now the sun has popped out and its chilly again x
Yes, lovely day over on this side too. 8 degrees, which felt pretty darn balmy. Great surfing waves at Harlyn and several surfers having a blast, but otherwise less people out than last weekend. Of course it could have been that I went right before sunset, too and last weekend I went out noontime.

Either way, very pretty and Carbon had fun where the waves were small enough for him. He likes it best if he doesn't have to swim and only gets his undercarriage wet. So funny. What kind of Lab are you? 😂

But he loves getting wrapped up in his drying coat afterwards, having his dinner and then conking out with huge snores on the sofa. ❤

intrigued why you go out so early for your first walk? I can understand on a summer's morning but not in the deep dark of winter.
We both get up at 5.30 (5.00 in the summer). F usually does the early morning walk, then he can be in his office (at home) early to deal with anything work related. He’s always done it. He says the walk sets him up for the day and it‘s true. I like to do boring things like vacuum whilst he’s out - gets it out the way. I now do the early walk once a week so he can be at the supermarket by 7 to minimise risks. We like to ‘seize the day’ and we have done so many things before many are awake. Also it’s quiet walking that time (not that it gets busy around here). It’s a good routine and generally we relax all evening (Red sleeps) as we feel we deserve it 😊.
