Harley and I had a fantastic walk today down at the river. We met a few other dogs and no reactions at all. I went in the river with her and we had great fun. We were walking / paddling / swimming for over 2 hours. Everytime we got out of the river she have me big licks. It was so nice and relaxed which was great as I still have no voice. When we weren’t in the river she was on lead as I wouldnt be able to recall her. It was just such a nice walk ❤

Reuben made me smile so much on our short walk . He was in and out of the river retrieving all the time, up and down the bank to plunge into the water and loving every second . A walking party appeared round the corner, real serious looking folks they were too and I thought Oh No , he is going to make himself known to them, soaking wet  But no , he glanced their way and decided that the river was much more interesting than these unsmiling professional walking types who never even had the decency to reply when I bid them Good Afternoon . Their loss , my boy had a lovely time

This was last night, still laughing now , trust Paul to make me smile just when I need it  He spends much time in his electric rise and recline chair and of late it has been making some alarming noises until yesterday when the motor died the death, leaving him suspended in recline  No way on earth I can haul him out of it so he had to sort of turn round and edge out backwards , a sight for sore eyes . Today has been mainly spent trying to source a new one and how the heck to get the dead one out of the house , chain saw comes to mind

When it was raining I ran from one building to another saying to the kids that I needed to be quick because witches melt in the rain. So today a child was without a pencil, to I pulled one out with a “Ta-dah, just like magic I found a pencil in a school!” One little boy looks at me then says with dead pan humour “Wow, Miss really is a witch 🧙‍♀️
