Trixie on the walk thos morning. We've been dealing with the slightest bit of dog reactivity(excitement) so I tried her on a new, unrestrictive harness, and added a game when we saw a dog.
when I first saw the dog, I did a quick Uturn and got excited about her following me. Then we did "Trixie, Trixie, SIT! Down" She goes KAPOW" basically throws herself into a lay, tongue hanging out LOL. Treats galore. Looks at dog, and repeat routine.
I know it's a bit high strung....but I cannot get her attention on me in a calm way...and if she gets fixated, she runs in around my legs and trips me. At least this is focused on me, and not the dog

The kangaroo paw is just coming into flower. I'm so pleased as I split it into separate plants a month or so ago and it seemed a little shocked. I love watching the wattle birds hanging from it when it's in full bloom.

They are lovely, good condition!
We have just had a horror run with sicknesses. Starting last Wednesday Rowan has had daily fevers with abdominal pain. When not febrile he was ok, just a bit... off for the first couple of days. By day 5 we were worrying a bit and took him to the GP for an objective opinion and exam. Of course that cured him and he hasn't had a fever since. He thinks Dr Jennifer fixed him when she touched him tummy. Haha.
Seeing him back to his usual happy self at swimming today definitely made me smile.
