What made you smile today?

A day out in Ledbury with my daughter today has me smiling, she rang this morning to ask if I wanted to accompany her to collect a stunning (and very expensive) portrait of her boyfriends dog, which is his Christmas present. It's a lovely little town with some individual shops, and we had lunch in a small wholefood shop cum cafe, so no need for me to cook tonight.

Much to talk about as we haven't seen each other for a month.

My referral vet is in Ledbury, a lovely town still. If you can find anywhere to park!

Do you need a referral to see a physio? That is different here, I just call my physio who is at the top of my street and make an appointment. He determines if scans are required but honestly my guy has fixed my neck, lower back, calf, both knees, wrist (carpal tunnel), achilles and I forget what else - all without a referral.
I really hope they can sort this sciatica out asap @Candy. My sister had it for years and said it was just awful
I could see a physio privately without a referral, but I need a referral to see a physio on the NHS. I had a telephone consultation with one yesterday, she was really helpful and has e mailed me some exercises. I have a face to face appointment with her on Friday.

My friend Shelli came to take Joy for a walk again thismorning. She pulled up outside in the Buddymobile, got out of the car and GGJ went running to jump into the back. Unfortunately she jumped before Shelli had opened the boot, so banged her poor little snout! She gave a squeak, shook her head and came straight back to me for cuddles! I am of course not smiling because she banged her nose (although I was pleased to see how happy she was to go with Shelli) but because despite no walks from me for nearly a week now, I'm still the one she runs to. :inlove:

New windows and door in our sunroom.
Made SUCH a difference its so cosy.
I painted the ceiling ( ) and the terracotta like colour under the windows. First time I have ever painted.

"I" still have the wall to do behind me, it's going to tone in with the terracotta, it's apricot-ish. We checked it would look OK with our red sofas/carpet as we can't get new covers very easily (and they cost ££££).

All I can say is, you can learn a lot from YouTube
