This is the best!

I was feeling pretty tired after a bad night's sleep and I was alone with Rowan this morning. My lovely neighbours invited me over and our kids happily played for hours while we just sat and chatted. Rowan and their daughter get along incredibly well. They both enjoy imaginative play, trampolining and cars/trains. But no rough play.

Fellow dog walker to me thismorning ' I wish all dogs were as lovely with Alfie as Joy is!' (Alfie is a Yellow Lab, who Joy absolutely adores, apparently he tried to play with some other dogs today but one of them turned on him, poor boy) Anyway, it made me smile a lot and of course I replied 'I wish all dogs were as lovely with Joy as Alfie is!':inlove:

Now that I`m getting on a bit , I cant manage heavy work in the garden . I found a local man from Looe who we have now had to do garden jobs for about five years and this morning he came to dig over my borders and cut the grass . What a fabulous job he has done , my garden looking tidy , neat and ready for bedding plants when the time is right , little things make me so happy xx

They were a really big hit with him surprisingly, he was almost doing backflips for them once he’d had his first taste! I predict more peanut butter puppy pancakes in his future for a cheap and cheerful treat 😋
Chewie also adores peanut butter. It's one of a few things that will have him in the kitchen immediately, at any time if day. The others are yoghurt, bananas and carrots. Oh and fish.

You may remember that when we had the first really cold spell of Winter I posted a photo of GGJ inspecting the frozen canal under a bridge and Mags@Boogie worked some kind of magic with it which turned it into an especially beautiful picture. Just before Christmas I received a parcel which had a print of the picture in it, as a very kind present from Mags. I took it to be framed and was pleased with the result and it's taken me a couple of weeks to decide where to hang it. Here it finally is in the hallway, alongside another of my favourite Joy photos, making me smile every time I walk past it.
Thankyou Mags!xxx20230228_164204.jpg20230228_164214.jpg
