Oh thank goodness, brilliant news @kateincornwall. I’m so relieved for you all but I’m guessing not as relieved as you. 




The big wound, about 6 inches , on his inner thigh has healed really well but the small one of his hock is not doing so well . It was decided to remove the stiches on his hock and that the small wound would heal by secondary intention , might take a while but its in a place where the joint it always moving which makes it more difficult . He was a really good, if excitable boy , one more wound check next Friday and then hopefully he can enjoy some much missed off lead walks xx
The nurse had to get on the floor beside him and take the stitches out from underneath him as he stood. The licki mat occupied him, otherwise he would have been looning aboutI am intrigued Kate, as to how the licki mat is employed so they can get at his inner thigh?![]()
