Can’t catch a break

How stressful for you, good that Quinn is in the right place, good call by you to bring her in. Try and get some rest. Hopefully, they will get to the bottom of this soon.

Bad news...bloods are normal which indicate there is something more going on. She is high on the pain scale, and is now running a slight fever. She is booked for an ultrasound, hopefully sooner rather than later. I honestly can't believe this is happening again. I just withdrew from our Scent Class that starts tonight.

She had surgery to her intestines, right? How was the corn cob removed? Would they not suspect a surgery-related issue rather than pancreatitis?
Yes, she had surgery not quite two months ago on her small intestines, removing 10cm of damaged intestine from a small piece of corn cob. If it was going to be a tear in the surgical site or infection, it would typically be within 2 weeks post surgery. This could be surgery related, we just don't know how yet.

Really sorry to hear this. Hopefully, the ultrasound can pinpoint the problem so it can be dealt with quickly. What a terrible worry for you x Big hugs from the Beanwood gang

Have they mentioned a intussusception at all? It’s one of the things they looked into for Mas but with the original issue and then this one too it might fit? NOT diagnosing anything but it might be something you could mention to them?

I will ask about it!

Gosh. So sorry to hear she is poorly. Hope the vets can get to the bottom if it quickly and that Quinn will soon be on the road to recovery. Sending hugs from here.:hug:
