@Candy, I say to Flicka 'do you want to be made beautiful' and she loves it - just ordinary combing. I did the Furminator for first time yesterday and she didn't seem to mind it. Thanks for reassuring me.

I have just tried the fulminator I had for the Labs, and managed to get a little of the coat out!

If anyone buys this, I would be interested in the result. I think Flicka's coat may be too sleek. .

I bought one for the Labs but I had the feeling it just cut the hairs? Am I right or wrong! If wrong I can try it on Flicka as still have it.

I daily vacuum the dining room as we spend most time in there, it looks immaculate, then I have one of those tools you can 'scrape' the carpet with and the amount of hair gathered, despite the vacuuming, is amazing!

Tatze and Red look very smart. What an amazing amount of fur came off Tatze, enough to knit another dog! Flicka moults all the time and although her coat looks Lab like, I think it is more a spaniel coat, so no woolly undercoat. Otherwise seeing what the groomer has done, I would have Flicka...

Not good enough Kate. It may mean that they don't consider Reuben's lump is not serious but that isn't the point! It may well be and you need to know, waiting is worrying.
