    Shoot The Dog!

Bronze is the same content released on the same schedule and you get access to read the threads of the gold students (which is very valuable) but you don’t get any interaction with the instructor. There is a FB “study group” which you can join and some of us old timers will answer questions if...

You definitely get a lot more out of gold. If you really want to do it at gold I can put in a good word for you and see if she’ll open up another spot 🙂

Librela - a new option for pain relief for dogs with osteo arthritis

I talked to my vet about it and she’s getting some in for me. It likely won’t make a lot of difference for Ginny because her issue is more in her back (I’m going to ask about laser therapy when I go in - it’s so much easier face to face than on the phone!) but the vet thinks it’s still worth a go.

    Shoot The Dog!

There is a FB study group that you can join and ask questions in. There are a few of us who have been through the courses in there to help out. You can post your assignments in there and ask for comments too.

    Shoot The Dog!

My camera is a Nikon D850, which is pretty darned good (and expensive 😳) but I started with a D7100. The lenses are the more important thing for quality, mostly... and of course knowing how to use the camera, how to compose photos etc. Like someone once said, “That’s a wonderful pen, I bet you...

    Shoot The Dog!

Yes, I went through all the courses at gold. For me, it’s by far the best option.

Tatze (her name means ‘paw’ in German)

So clever! I’m sure my lot could be trained to do that, but they definitely wouldn’t think of it off their own backs 😁

    Shoot The Dog!

Here is it again, the course that started me on my photography journey! I cannot recommend this enough. Most of you guys will have seen the progression of my photography skills (and there is still SO MUCH to learn!) and this is where it all started. Today is registration day and I cannot...

    Watermelon, anyone??

I find it really strange what really turns my lot on food-wise. Of course there's the obvious, but I swear they prefer edamame pods to chicken sometimes :D

    Ginny

I don't think I shared this photo of Ginny on here, so she can have it in her own thread :) My happy, funny girl. Those stubs of worn-down teeth, though, from chewing on the kennel bars

    Arthritis

Oh, that's interesting. I was concerned that she would have to wait because she's just had another Osteopen injection. I'll ask my vet and see if it's available here.

    Arthritis

@JulieH is also using Librela with her dog Tarka and logging on FB. She's seeing profound results. I'm very tempted to try it with Juniper.

Temptation Alley -- help required !

That’s not mutually exclusive with the suggestions I made. Firstly, identify the goal. The goal here is running Temptation Alley. That’s it. Sure, this is a smaller part of a bigger topic (recall) but the goal right now is the successful running down the alley, nothing more. So you work on that...

Librela - a new option for pain relief for dogs with osteo arthritis

Julie H has been using it with her Tarka, and is seeing great results after only a handful of days. I’m guessing it is going to be more miraculous for some dogs than others.

Temptation Alley -- help required !

You could also use a cover like a sieve or colander so she gets the scent but has no easy access. It's a very strong visual cue though, so fading it could be more difficult, although I think if you work on building the strong pattern of running the alley then that will override the temptations...

    Nightmare

Ugh, it must have been terrifying for you all. But it's only you who will be struggling with the "what ifs". I'm sorry you experienced this, you must feel sick.
