They do have a large breed puppy food - a friend’s lab was on that formula

Interesting - I think orijen puppy only comes grain free? Could be that - many people in dog food groups I follow comment on orijen/acana being very rich.

Why is that? I have not heard of that before.

If Shamas' food is suitable ALS for large breed puppy, you could put them on the same food. If she is frequently getting into his food and eating her own, then that might explain the poops...

Prim is a handful, but today she recalled on a dime halfway in a full run to another off leash dog + human that she loves (makes a fuss over her). I couldn’t believe it. Such a good girl at times! No chance Quinn would have done that at 9 months!

Primrose got our game much faster than Quinn - you can see their personalities in their approaches. Primrose smashes it, is so rough but got the concept and used her paws more. Quinn was pensive, gentle her first few goes and reluctant to use too much pressure and used her nose more!

So so sad.

I need to get the powder - hours after the incident we went for a walk and when we got home she bled everywhere again, and a bit again this morning. I don't know how i went so short! I booked Prim in for nails today - not trying again for awhile! Does it hurt them when you cut too short?

Poor Harley, but I agree that it's worth it to get to the bottom of things. It's great that they let you stay with her while she's sedated!

I got over confident and cut Quinn's quik :doh: it's a total blood bath...like Coco, she didn't flinch or make a peep. I brought her outside and she lifted that leg, so back inside to with a cloth to wait it out. It's back to the groomers for nails in this house! I feel so bad.
