That is very encouraging, the pain has developed fairly recently, and is so frustrating! So pleased you are doing well with your bionic hips!

    Librela for humans?

I have arthrtis in both knees - but more recently the arthritis in my hip has been incredibly dibilitating. This looks like the way forward, but may have to dip into savings for it as waiting list for the NHS is up to 2 years! :weary: The pain though some days is unbearable.

    Inconsistent reaction

Super advice from @HAH. The only thing I would add is ensure that no-one gets into Hunters space - even if he appears comfortable. There is such a fine line between a dog tolerating strangers and reacting. If he is tolerating, then it is possible there is some conflict developing, especially if...

    Dropped tail

Yes, this seems most likely - especially at 16 years old - best to discuss with vet. Any leg weakness - or other symptoms such as urgency to go to the toilet, or the odd accident?

    Beagles Cooking Up Trouble!

This really made me laugh!  href="">
I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. There's another dog cooking show on TikTok where dogs actually collect all the ingredients and help out and don't eat any of it until the end. This is definitely not that. 😂😂😂

    Casper

It's been just over a week. A really painful time. The other dogs - Benson, Bramble, River, Otter Woody and Teasel are mostly fine. A bit of movement on the bed front, none of them wanted to curl up in Caspers bed at the start, but now they have taken turns to nap there. Taught scentwork for...

    Stick ouchie

Raw chicken bones are fine for dogs, but the problem with cooked chicken bones is that the heating process causes the bones to become brittle with a very real risk of splintering. The actual structure of a chicken bone is also different to say, lamb or beef. They are smaller, thinner and more...
