    Banana Skin!

Oh that’s not good to hear 😞 We’ve had a Labrador experience with watermelon skin, and the fibrous stalk caused a problem. It remained undigested and caused a lot of discomfort until it finally passed. Was also an in and out of the vet situation.

    Banana Skin!

You an the vet are monitoring everything so closely. I’m sure the end of it all will be positive. Just a major stress getting to that point....

    Banana Skin!

Maybe we should be placing bets on when and by what means the banana skin will reappear 😄 The fibrous stalk is prob the tricky bit. But Joy will dispense with it all one way or another, I’m sure!

    Vaccination and lump investigation

Re. aspiration....accuracy depends on the type of lump. It’s not accurate for some things. It’s very accurate for other types of lump with a distinctive cell type. Vets know when to advise aspiration and when to go straight to removal.

    Vaccination and lump investigation

Oops, sorry, I see that the removal is yet to happen. Yes, definitely you are doing the right thing to get it removed, now that you know what it is. There is no doubt about that at all.

    Vaccination and lump investigation

Totally understand how worried you are... But don’t berate yourself for a second. In waiting and keeping an eye on it you did exactly as your first vet advised. On getting different advice you also did the right thing to immediately get it removed. And removal may have dealt with it. Did they...

    Should I be worried ?

Dogs evolved in an environment in which it would’ve been rare to come across a dog you didn’t know. And if you did meet a new dog you would not meet it alone but in the company of other dogs you did know (humans are the same actually). This would’ve been true for most of the history of the...
